Omgie Day is more than just a civvies day – it’s a celebration of care, hope, and creativity. On this joyful day, children (R10) and adults (R20) wear their most colourful clothes, make a small donation, and receive an Omgie sticker that proudly says: I care.
ENGO invites schools to take part in Omgie Day with free educational videos on themes such as emotions, children’s rights, and “Colour Your Dreams.” Schools can also invite Omgie himself for a fun-filled visit full of dancing, laughter, and hope. A colouring competition encourages children to express their dreams.
Businesses can get involved with an Omgie package (R1500) or donate R20 per staff member – and receive a Section 18A certificate.
All funds help ENGO support more than 60 centres across the Free State. Share your colourful photos on Facebook and tag ENGO Vrystaat – because colour and hope are contagious!
Stickers available at all ENGO centres.
