Engo is a non-profit, non-governmental<\/span><\/strong> welfare organisation that primarily operates<\/span> in the Free State<\/span>, offering essential care<\/span> and counseling to children, families, the elderly, individuals with disabilities<\/span>, and patients in need<\/span>.<\/p>\n

Formally established in 1967<\/span>, Engo\u2019s roots trace back to 1902 with the founding of the Charlotte Theron Child and Youth Care Centre in Bethlehem. With over 100 years of dedicated service<\/span>, Engo has become a cornerstone of support for South African communities.<\/p>\n

As the second-largest charity of its kind in South Africa<\/span> and the largest<\/span> in the Free State<\/span>, Engo positively impacts<\/span> nearly 200,000 lives annually<\/span>, serving people across all races, cultures, and age groups.<\/p>\n

Engo operates with a strong foundation of core values<\/span>, including courage, excellence, honesty, integrity, care<\/span>, and empathy<\/span>. Guided by a Christian ethos<\/span>, the organisation strives to create eternal hope<\/span> and make a meaningful difference<\/span> in the lives of those it serves.<\/p>\n
